Kelly Owen, CEO and Founder
As CEO and Founder of EncryptaKey, Kelly Owen is responsible for directing EncryptaKey’s strategic vision, overseeing day-to-day operations and executing on the corporate mission in order to deliver maximum benefit to all stakeholders. Mr. Owen has worked for more than 25 years as a serial technology entrepreneur and operations specialist. A veteran of Special Operations in the United States Navy Intelligence, Nuclear Submarine Command during the Cold War, Mr. Owen has extensive experience with top secret electronic security technologies and methodologies.
Prior to founding EncryptaKey, Mr. Owen founded and directed Owen Consulting, LLC, a firm specializing in custom internet applications development for government and commercial enterprise organizations which also served as the incubator for EncryptaKey early stage engineering and design.
Mr. Owen has held senior IT management positions for International Transportation Service, a large Japanese logistics firm and AKH (Discount Tire Centers) along with Nestle, USA.
Mr. Owen holds a degree in Computer Science from National University, San Diego.
Charles Christ, Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer at EncryptaKey, Charlie is responsible for staffing and growing EncryptaKey’s business consistent with the long term business plan.
Mr. Christ has over 40 years experience in executive management, sales and business development positions within both small and large telecommunications companies. He is experienced in the growth of startup companies as well as participating in taking private companies public (IPOs). He brings a wide range of experiences to EncryptaKey in growing sales revenues and increasing profitability through the management of people.
Mr. Christ began his career with AT&T in various operations, engineering and sales management positions. Upon leaving AT&T he worked with various smaller companies such as M/A-COM Linkabit and DSC Communications. In 1991 he started TCG San Diego, a division of TCG and successfully grew that business until it was acquired by AT&T in 1998. Upon acquisition he was the Regional Vice President for ATT. In 2000 he was the EVP Marketing for Lexent, Inc. during their successful public offering. His experience also includes consulting roles with the City of San Diego and Sempra Energy.
Mr. Christ graduated cum laude from Fordham University and holds a B.A. degree in Economics.
Jack E. Owens, Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Jack is responsible for the financial integrity of Encryptakey’s day to day operations and the reporting of financial results to the SEC and the shareowners of the business.
Mr. Owens is a practicing certified public accountant with more than thirty two years of financial and management experience. He has significant public accounting experiences with national accounting firms covering a wide range of clients in the architectural and engineering, automotive, entertainment, graphic arts, construction, health care, hospitality, restaurant, manufacturing, securities, banking, governmental, and distribution fields. He is a specialist in statistical sampling and computer auditing.
Mr. Owens has served as Vice-President and CFO for a major wholesale distributor and currently serves as an officer or director for several companies in the Central Florida area. He has considerable experience in mergers and acquisitions and has performed reviews on official statements in connection with offerings of municipal securities, and has experience with the registration of public companies.
Mr. Owens is a graduate of the University of South Florida where he received both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy degree. He holds both a CPA and a CMA certificate.
Mr. Owens is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Institute of Management Accounting.
Mark Weitz, SecretaryMr. Weitz is a skilled attorney who has many years of experience in the field of employment law. Mr. Weitz has owned and operated a successful law practice in Los Alamitos, California since 1988. He graduated from Southwestern University of Law in 1988 and has been a member of the California Bar Association since that time. Prior to his becoming an attorney, Mr. Weitz was the branch manager of a NYSE stock brokerage firm, Olde and Company, located in Detroit, Michigan.
