The compact and portable EncryptaKey Device enables users to create a fully secure data-exchange environment from any computer and/or location.

Security Layer
Within the Security Layer of the Device are several components that form the user authentication portion of the EncryptaKey Solution.  These include, the Biometric Reader, Symbol Selection (user selects one of several symbols known only to the true owner of the device), the Boot Loader (transforms any computer into a secure Internet access terminal), the EncryptaKey O/S, A secure, read only operating system, designed to be immuned to infectious threats, tamper-proof design, and encrypted storage.

Application Layer
The Application layer of the EncryptaKey Device allows  access to web browsing utilizing the EncryptaKey Web Browser.  In order to support off-line editing of certain file types, the Device incorporates simplified versions of the online EncrytpaKey Application Suite, as well as the ability to support corporate Client-Server applications. 

In order to facilitate a safe and secure means of storing and transporting data, the Device allows data to be written to encrypted file storage, which is only accessible once the two factors of authentication have been satisfied.
