EncryptaKey Agents are specialized software programs installed on participating organizations' servers. They enable these organizations to conduct transactions via the EncryptaKey Server, including all of the authentication and financial-authorization functions.

Using EncryptaKey Agents does not require participating organizations to change their standard business practices, or acquire new equipment. 

Security Layer
Agents are designed to be flexible and adaptive, and do not need to be re-written for each customer - only minor changes are required for each installation, allowing the user to authenticate on corporate and third-party external networks.  Once installed, Agents have the intelligence to parse data and manage the data exchange between the Server and associated third-party systems.

Application Layer
While the primary functionality of the EncryptaKey Agent software resides on the Security Layer, in some applications certain functionality can be delivered as part of the Agent software.
